What is Steady Assist?
Steady Assist is Task Tango’s flexible, task by task service for Mortgage Support. It gives you access to individual processing tasks whenever you need them, without a long term commitment. It’s ideal for brokers who need quick help during busy periods but don’t want to hire permanent staff.
How soon can I start sending tasks?
Once your agreement is signed, you can start submitting tasks straight away. Our Mortgage Support Officers pick them up as soon as they become available.
Each task is assigned to the next available officer. You may not work with the same person every time, although we do our best to keep linked or dual applications with one officer where possible.

Can I request the same officer each time?
Not with Steady Assist. To maintain the 24 hour turnaround, tasks are allocated based on availability. If you prefer one dedicated officer, our full-time programs such as Tango Total or Tango Relief will suit you better.
For linked applications or multiple tasks on the same file, we’ll try to route them back to the same person whenever possible.
What loan types are supported?
Not all loan types can be completed under Steady Assist. Please refer to the task list and pricing to confirm eligibility for each task.
How are documents renamed and organised?
Our team uses Task Tango’s standard naming conventions and folder structure to prepare all documents so they’re clean, organised and lender ready.

What are the minimum requirements for each task?
Minimum requirements are listed on the Steady Assist submission form. You can also access the requirements through the link provided in your onboarding materials.
What does the Deal Preparation Package include?
Steady Assist completes all Discovery and Lodgement tasks (except credit checks) for a full end to end setup. This removes the need to submit multiple requests for a single deal.
If we need additional details from the Lending tab in MyCRM, we’ll place the task on hold and let you know. Once updated, we’ll continue through to ApplyOnline and prepare all lender documents.
Are there tasks Steady Assist cannot complete?
Yes. Steady Assist only covers the tasks listed above.
Mortgage Support Officers cannot contact clients directly under any circumstance.
How does billing work?
All Steady Assist tasks appear on your monthly Task Tango invoice and are billed in arrears through direct debit.
How do I know when a task is complete?
You’ll receive an email when your task is received, and another once it has been completed.
What are the operating hours?

Where can I find my Task Tango agreement?
Your agreement is sent through DocuSign at signing and again once fully executed. If you can’t locate it, contact support@tasktango.com and we’ll resend it.
How do I end my Steady Assist access?
There’s no cancellation process. Since Steady Assist is pay-per-task, simply stop submitting requests whenever you no longer need the service.
**Steady Assist Minimum Requirements**
Below are the minimum requirements needed for each Steady Assist task within Task Tango’s Mortgage Support program. Providing these up front helps us complete your requests smoothly and avoid delays.
Deal Preparation Package
Before we begin:
