What is CoreCrew?

CoreCrew is the full-time support program offered by Task Tango for growing broker businesses that want dedicated help and structured management oversight.

This program includes monthly quality checks completed by the Review team, monthly scorecards managed by the team leader, ongoing learning and development support.

 

How is CoreCrew different from FlexFlow?

CoreCrew is our most comprehensive option. It provides hands-on leadership involvement, structured performance monitoring and a managed development pathway.

FlexFlow offers a lighter-touch model best suited to businesses with strong internal processes or existing onshore support that can guide and train their BSO.

 

What is a BSO?

A BSO is a Broker Support Officer.
We use this title because the role focuses on completing operational and administrative tasks for brokers rather than managing client relationships.

 

How long does it take to onboard a BSO?

Task Tango typically requires two weeks from selecting your BSO to final handover, allowing time to set up systems and tools.

Sourcing a BSO can take four to eight weeks, depending on the level of experience required. More specialised roles, like Credit Analysts, may take longer.

What are the benefits of CoreCrew?

Can a BSO support multiple businesses?
No. Under CoreCrew, your BSO works exclusively within your business. They may support multiple brokers inside your business, but not multiple separate entities.
 
What are the minimum terms for CoreCrew?
Pricing varies based on experience and role requirements.
Monthly fees start at $
A onboarding fee is payable upon signing. This is billed one month before handover, once a BSO has been selected.
Note: Handover usually begins in the first week of the month. Fees are only pro-rated if handover occurs after the 7th.
 
When can I start assigning tasks to the BSO?
We encourage a short introduction period so the BSO can meet your team and access your documented processes. Tasks can be assigned immediately after the handover meeting.
 
How do I assign tasks to the BSO?
You can use any of your preferred communication or workflow tools, including:

  • Email or shared mailbox

  • Google Chat

  • MyCRM Activities

  • Trello

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Slack

  • Other cloud-based communication or workflow systems

 
How will I know what the BSO has completed each day?
Your BSO will update you through your preferred communication method. They’ll also flag challenges or questions. You can set expectations for daily or weekly reporting during onboarding.
 
What tasks can a BSO complete?
BSOs can support almost any operational, administrative or file-related task.
They cannot complete work that requires a licensed broker such as:

  • Giving credit advice

  • Writing compliance notes

  • Deciding loan structure

If a BSO is trained to take on higher duties, this may contribute to future performance and salary review discussions.
 
Are there tasks a BSO cannot complete?
Only tasks that require a broker licence are excluded.
All other tasks are permitted as long as training and guidance are provided if they were not covered during induction.
 
Can my BSO process construction loans?
Yes. They may need additional training depending on their experience.
 
Do Task Tango BSOs work from home or the office?
Most BSOs work from home. You're responsible for assigning and managing their day-to-day tasks.
Leave processes are outlined in the Task Tango Leave Policy, including how public holidays are managed.
 
How are payments processed?
Your CoreCrew fees will appear on your monthly aggregator invoice and are direct debited in arrears.
 
Where can I find my Task Tango agreement?
You’ll receive your agreement via DocuSign when it’s ready to sign, and again once fully executed. Keep a copy for your records.

Do I need to give notice if I want to end my agreement with Task Tango?
Yes. A 90-day written notice is required.
