What does a local hire really cost, against one monthly fee?
Salary is the visible part. Add on-costs, a recruitment fee, a desk and equipment, and compare the year with a Task Tango seat at a monthly fee you set.
The local hire

The method
Local hire
Salary × (1 + on-costs) + salary × recruitment fee + desk, equipment and software.
Task Tango seat
The monthly fee × 12. The seat includes salary, office, equipment, HR, payroll, replacement cover and a Pulse workspace.
On-cost defaults
Australia: 12% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading on four weeks, state payroll tax and workers' compensation, about 24%. UK: 15% employer National Insurance above the threshold, 3% pension, apprenticeship levy, about 19%.

Why no leave or sick cover in the local figure?
To keep it conservative. A local employee's four weeks' leave and sick days are paid but produce no output; a Task Tango seat is covered by the team.
Does the Task Tango figure include everything?
Yes for a Managed Team seat: salary, office, equipment, HR, payroll and filings, replacement cover and the Pulse workspace. The only extra is the one-off recruitment and onboarding fee.
Can I compare a part-time hire?
Enter the part-time salary and the FlexFlow or LifeLite monthly cost from the pricing page.
